On Thursday 26th May many of our clinical staff at the  practice will be attending an important training event arranged by the Clinical Commissioning Group. There will be a reduced number of appointments available on that day. If you require urgent medical assistance please inform the practice reception. The practice will open as usual at 8.30am the following day.

Please indicate the nature and urgency of your problem so we can help you as efficiently as possible.  This will ensure that you are booked in with the correct healthcare professional and that the quickest route to treatment or advice is taken. Health Visitors – who are they?

A Health Visitor is a registered nurse or midwife who has completed a further degree in public health nursing to become a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.

 

There is a team of Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses covering the Farnborough area.

 

Their aim is to enable both communities and individuals to keep in the best possible health. Health includes social and emotional aspects as well as physical wellbeing.

The Health Visitors operate an advice line and should you wish to speak with a Health Visitor, telephone advice is available between 09.00: 16:45. Calls may go through to an answering machine during busy times or when the line is engaged. They will endeavour to call you back as soon as possible, this may be the next working day.
