Noticeboard

On Thursday 26th May many of our clinical staff at the  practice will be attending an important training event arranged by the Clinical Commissioning Group. There will be a reduced number of appointments available on that day. If you require urgent medical assistance please inform the practice reception. The practice will open as usual at 8.30am the following day.

IMPORTANT PATIENT INFORMATION: Click here for information on Partnership changes happening as of 1st January 2018.

We would like to notify our patients that our reception team will be asking you some brief details regarding your request for an appointment. Please indicate the nature and urgency of your problem so we can help you as efficiently as possible.  This will ensure that you are booked in with the correct healthcare professional and that the quickest route to treatment or advice is taken. Our healthcare team is expanding....You can read  more about this here

We now have a text messaging reminder service available to our patients. Please ensure that we have your mobile number to enable us to contact you this way. You can add or change your mobile number by clicking here.

Expanding Healthcare Team

We would like to notify our patients that our reception team will be asking you some brief details regarding your request for an appointment. Please indicate the nature and urgency of your problem so we can help you as efficiently as possible.  This will ensure that you are booked in with the correct healthcare professional and that the quickest route to treatment or advice is taken.

Clinical Pharmacist

Milestone Surgery now has a Clinical Pharmacist working within the practice 3 days a week. Jo will be assisting the practice to deal with prescription queries and will have telephone appointments on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. If patients have questions about their medication it may well be appropriate to ask for one of these appointments rather than a doctors telephone appointment. Please note that these appointments are not to be used for merely requesting repeat prescriptions.

Jo will also be holding appointments for patients with hypertension here at the surgery.

Physiotherapy Assessment Specialists

This team is highly trained to an expert level in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal/orthopaedic problems. They are able to offer a rapid assessment service for both new and long standing muscular, joint and back pain; for example, low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and foot and ankle pain.

They are able to advise on appropriate rehabilitation/exercise programmes, refer for physiotherapy treatment, x-rays and scans. From April 3rd we are lucky to be able to provide in conjunction with our local GP federation and Frimley Park Hospital,  2-3 clinics a week here at Milestone. Access to the clinics will be directly via our reception staff and it will not be necessary to see a GP first.
