You can eConsult with your own GP/Admin Team at your own convenience and we will get back to you by the end of the next working day. You can also use this service to check symptoms and get advice on which service is most appropriate for your needs.

Appointments

receptionSurgeries usually run from 08:45 – 11:00 in the morning and 15:00 – 18:00 in the afternoon although the exact times will vary according to each doctor.  There are clinics and other sessions between these times.

Patients can book an appointment either by phone or in person at the reception.

We have an online booking service via the above link. To register for using this you need to complete a registration form and hand it into our reception along with photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence). Forms are either available at reception or you can download one. Click Here

Upon arrival you should 'check-in' at the reception desk.  You will be given a coloured disk with a number.  When the doctor is ready for the next patient his light will flash and a buzzer will sound. You should place your number over the previous one on the display, and go down to the consulting room which is clearly marked in the main corridor.

Extended Hours

The surgery also offers extended opening hours to help those who have difficulty making routine appointments during the normal working week. This facility will be on Monday evenings until 19:30 and from 07:30 on Wednesday mornings. Appointments will normally be with your own doctor, and must be made in advance with our receptionists

Telephone Advice

The doctors try to make themselves available to patients for telephone advice and consulting.  If you have a query please ring the office and the staff will try to accommodate you. Sometimes they may suggest you speak to the nurse or the health visitor, or one of the secretaries. You may be given a time to call back as yours may be one of many enquiries.

Chaperone Policy

All patients have the right to have a chaperone present during examinations, which can either be a patient's friend or family member, or a nurse.  Your doctor may suggest this. Sometimes this will require a separate appointment at a later date.  Our policy is detailed in a notice in the waiting room but if you have any concerns please speak to a receptionist or your doctor.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
