New Patient Registration
The practice is accepting new patients who reside within the practice area. You may be asked to provide proof of address and/or identity, particularly if you are new to the UK and are registering as an NHS patient for the first time.
Please call into the practice and pick up a registration form for each member of the family who wishes to register. Please note you will need to provide your NHS number on the registration form- if you do not know your NHS number please contact your previous practice and they can advise you.
If you do not have an NHS number because you are new to the UK we may need to verify you are eligible to receive NHS care.
If you reside outside of our practice area the NHS Choices website can help you find a practice that is local to you.
New Patient Checks
All patients aged 16 and over are invited to attend a new patient check with one of our practice nurses when they register with the practice.
This will allow us to gather information about your health needs as soon as possible, and gives you the opportunity to discuss any problems you may have- it can take some weeks for your notes to arrive with us.
If you are on repeat medication, you will also need to see a doctor to have the medication set up on our clinical system so you can order it as usual. Please bring the right hand side of a previous repeat prescription or the packaging of the medication, to your appointment.
When you transfer between practices, it can take several weeks for your medical notes to arrive with us. It is important we start to get to know you so we can help you stay in the best of health.
